Students are responsible for purchasing the 2024 USPAP Publication directly from The Appraisal Foundation. If you completed the 2024-2025 USPAP course, you should already have this publication.

Attendance:

Full attendance is required. Attendance will be verified during the morning and afternoon sessions. Certificates of completion will be issued after successful completion of the course.

Classroom expectations:

Please silence phones and other devices during class except for course-related use. Audio or video recording is not permitted.

Cancellation policy:

Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 7 days before the course. Cancellations within 7 days may receive a credit toward a future AVS course. No refunds within 24 hours of the course or for no-shows. Sponsorship registrations are non-refundable. If AVS cancels the course, attendees may choose a full refund or transfer to a future AVS course.

An 18-hole scramble bringing together real estate, mortgage, valuation, and housing professionals.

Join the American Valuation Society for the AVS Real Estate Golf Classic on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Frisco Lakes Golf Club in Frisco, Texas.

This 18-hole scramble is designed as a fun, approachable, and high-value networking event for professionals across the real estate and housing ecosystem. Whether you are in real estate brokerage, mortgage lending, appraisal, valuation, title, data, technology, development, investment, or another related field, this event offers a relaxed setting to build relationships, strengthen industry connections, and support AVS programming.

Individual golfers and teams are welcome. Individual players will be paired with other golfers to form scramble teams.

Registration is $125 per individual golfer and includes:

18 holes of golf
Golf cart
Lunch
Networking
Awards and sponsor recognition

Teams of four may register for $500.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Title Sponsor – $5,000
Premier recognition as the title sponsor of the AVS Real Estate Golf Classic, including logo recognition on event materials, signage, registration page, event promotion, and recognition during event remarks. Includes eight golfer passes.

Lunch or Reception Sponsor – $3,000
Recognition tied to the golf lunch or post-event reception, including signage, event promotion, registration page recognition, and recognition during event remarks. Includes four golfer passes.

Beverage Cart Sponsor – $2,500
Logo recognition on beverage cart signage and event materials. Includes two golfer passes.

Player Gift or Prize Sponsor – $1,500
Recognition connected to player gifts, contest prizes, or awards. Includes two golfer passes.

Hole Sponsor – $1,000
Logo/signage at one golf hole and recognition in event materials. Hole Sponsors may add up to four golfer registrations at the sponsor courtesy rate of $100 per golfer.

Friend of AVS Supporter – $500
Supporter listing on the event registration page and post-event thank-you recognition. Golf registration, hole signage, event signage, and verbal recognition are not included.

Sponsor logo and recognition materials are due by Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Cancellations received in writing by Friday, September 25, 2026 may be eligible for a refund, less payment processing fees. Cancellations after September 25, 2026 are non-refundable due to final commitments for golf, carts, lunch, signage, and event materials. Substitutions are welcome with advance written notice to AVS. Sponsorships are non-refundable once sponsor recognition or event materials have been confirmed or produced. Golfer passes included with sponsorships have no separate cash value and are not eligible for refund, credit, or partial refund if unused. If the event is rescheduled due to severe weather, course closure, or circumstances beyond AVS’s control, registrations and sponsorships will be applied to the rescheduled date whenever possible.
